Na última sexta, 29 de julho – A cidade de São Paulo se transformou mais uma vez em New Orleans, a histórica cidade americana que carrega toda essência e a magia do blues, do soul, do funk e do jazz.
O Bourbon Street Fest chega em sua edição de número nove, e desde o dia 21, as ruas de São Paulo estão sendo invadidas pela “Orleans Street Jazz Band” que percorre alguns pontos da cidade tocando um jazz moderno, de forma bem humorada e anunciando a chegada do Bourbon Street Fest, que tem início no próprio Bourbon Street com apresentação moderna da jovem violonista Amanda Shaw • veja abaixo um pouquinho de como é o trabalho dela.
Já no sábado – dia 30,o festival trouxe uma grande festa ao ar livre no Parque do Ibirapuera, trazendo no line-up a Orleans St. Jazz Band, o blues de John Mooney e sua banda Bluesiana, Amanda Shaw e o R&B das meninas do New Orleans Ladies Of Soul.
A programação segue de terça à sábado no Bourbon Street Club, e domingo rola o grande encerramento dessa maratona a partir das 16h na própria rua do club, desta vez as atrações são: o trombonista de jazz – Delfeayo Marsalis, Nathan amp; e sua banda Zydeco Cha Chas, e encerrando em grande estilo – a animada Dirty Dozen Band [foto].
As apresentações ao ar livre prometem ser as mais bacanas – e são free.
